"死"后复生的感觉
Was at Dodo's place on Sunday and I decided for some reason to run back home from his place to mine to get some stuff...Took the canal route which Jevon was telling me before I left the Low Household in Jurong...

I was slightly perturbed by this route because I've never taken it before and not only did it seem like it was heading to nowhere, there wasn't a single soul in sight! And i was running around 6 plus so I was worried once it got dark, I'm dead! But with that little masculine pride and ego in the 'gay' me, I told myself I had to overcome this tiny fear and went ahead...
After a while, I managed to settle my nerves and really enjoy the freshness of the air and the nature that surrounds me...

Love this shot!

Moon at dusk!
Then came the incident that left me shaken...it was getting real dark when I was half way through the canal route and from afar, I saw this white figure....my heart was beating doubly fast not from the physical exertion of running from Jurong to Choa Chu Kang but the suspense and fear from what I saw..
As I got closer, I was certain it was a man in white sitting down beside the railing along the canal (WHY WOULD SOMEONE SIT ALONG THE CANAL RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE AT SUCH A TIMING?!?!?)...around him were 3 stray dogs!!! Knowing that dogs may get agitated from rigorous body movements, I started walking real slowly until I've past them all...about more than 50metres later, very much convinced that the danger was over, I saw the violet backdrop of the skies and came to a halt, took out my cam. phone and was about to take a picture when I heard resounding barkings getting closer and closer towards me...
To my horror, the dogs that appeared savage-looking were darting towards me!!! At that moment, besides entertaining thoughts that I'm so gonna be tore apart by those hounds, I knew that I couldn't outrun them and the fact that if I ran, they will definitely give chase! So I stood still and the funny thing was, I held up my hands as though I was held at gunpoint...
THANKFULLY, those mad dogs stopped just a few metres away from me and from then, I took small steps away from them until I felt it was the right time to move briskly away from there and towards the main road where I felt safe and alive again...
I was visibly shaken...

Never biten, already shy....No way am I gonna take that route alone ever again!!!
