That's the colour representing year 2008 if you ask me...

And what a way to draw closer to the end of this year...falling ill during this festive period and like that wasn't enough, an assault incident which led to a police case on the last day of the HDB stage event yesterday...

Middle-aged men reeking of alcohol hurling vulgarities first at Dasmond, the emcee...

Intervention was inevitable as I was the co-ordinator and had to ensure the safety of involved party...

What ensued was, in short, me bearing the brunt of one of the drunkards' flailing arm and endless flow of profanities as I was trying to get them away from the HDB officer who was attacked and fled the scene right after (for his own safety I guess...hmmmmm)...

Police arrived briefly after the psychos went back to their 'beer garden' for more of their 'hormonal intake' and the rest, needless to say, were all the standard procedures and what you may have seen in dramas...

The other party and his wife lying through their teeth, denying the fact that there was any violence earlier although I had a bruise on my arm, and that if there was indeed any, they didn't know the person at all...

An indirect threat issued to me from that asshole right before the police officers' presence...

Kay-poh residents/passerbys who wanted to bask in the post-incident drama but did nothing earlier to stop all these from happening...

I think I've had just about enough of 2008!!!
